Online support group for parents and carers of autistic women and girls

This supportive and friendly online group offers professional and peer support for parents and carers of autistic women and girls.

What we offer

This group is an opportunity for parents and carers of autistic women and girls to meet and connect with each other, in a supportive and professionally-led space.

Parents and carers can share their experiences and support each other. The group is facilitated by professional members of the Aurum team.

In addition to the regular group, we also run themed information sessions, led by autistic women or autism professionals. Themes for past sessions have included:

Socialising
Masking
Sensory profiles
Social interactions
Planning and preparation

How it works

This online group is held monthly on a Monday evening 7pm to 8.30pm, via Zoom video call.

The group is open to parents and carers who:

Have a daughter who is autistic (formal diagnosis or self-identified)
Are aged 18 and over
Live in Worcestershire or Shropshire

Our online parent groups are led by Elaine.

The group is free of charge.
